General Assistant

Supervisors:
1) Angie James, Assistant Events Manager (Events Department)
2) April Akin, Facilities Manager (Facilities Department)
Schedule:
Flexible, but will likely be Monday, Thursday, Friday, Saturday (approximately 20/year), and Sunday (approximately 5/year)
20-30 hours per week (flexible, but will generally fall between 8 a.m. and 6 p.m.)
Compensations: Depends on Experience

Events
a. Restocks bar following each event
b. Completes and returns Bar Inventory form following each event
c. Cleans bar following each event
d. Confirms that all appropriate signs are set out for each event
e. Collects and returns signs to storage as needed
f. Attends rehearsal and serves as traffic attendant
g. Works event in a number of capacities (shuttle driver, bartender, traffic attendant, floater, etc.)
h. Serves as Event Host for DIY events, as requested
Facilities
a. Assists with housekeeping needs in AirBNBs
b. Assists with janitorial needs, including cleaning the Pavilion, Catering Kitchen, and restrooms
c. Assists with exterior improvements for events area (setting up yard games, cutting grass, touch-up painting, blowing off sidewalks, etc.)
Will consider adding additional landscaping tasks to this job description if qualified applicant desires a full-time position and is able to perform mowing, weed-eating, and general property improvements such as painting, etc.

1. Attends departmental and supervisory meetings
2. Prompt reply to all communications
a. Phone calls are considered urgent and should be responded to immediately
b. Text messages are considered important and should be responded to as soon as possible
c. Email messages should be replied to by next business day
3. Communicate scheduling or resource needs to Supervisor as soon as possible
4. Review and complete assigned tasks on the Tactical Checklist
5. Offer suggestions for improvements to the processes and property
6. Assists with special projects when possible
