Rolla Regional Spring Hiring Event Set for May 6, Connecting Job Seekers with Local Employers

Rolla, Mo., April 21, 2026 – Job seekers across the Central Region are invited to attend the Rolla Regional Spring Hiring Event on Wednesday, May 6, from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the National Guard Armory, 201 Fairgrounds Road in Rolla.
Hosted by the Rolla Job Center, the event will bring together employers from a wide range of industries who are actively hiring. Attendees will have the opportunity to meet face-to-face with employers, explore available positions, and interview on-site.

“This event is about making real connections between job seekers and employers,” said Sundi Jo Graham, Communications Coordinator for the Central Workforce Development Region. “It creates an opportunity for individuals to take the next step in their career while helping employers meet their workforce needs.”
The hiring event is open to all job seekers, including those entering the workforce, exploring new career paths, or seeking better opportunities. Job seekers are encouraged to bring copies of their resume and come prepared for interviews. Professional dress is recommended.
The Rolla Job Center also offers support services to help individuals prepare, including resume assistance and interview guidance.
Attendees can also enjoy lunch on site. Food for Your Soul Food Truck will be available throughout the event, offering a convenient option to grab a meal while connecting with employers.

The work done to assist mid-Missouri communities is a collaborative effort among the Central Ozarks Private Industry Council (COPIC), the Office of Workforce Development, the Central Workforce Development Board, and numerous community partners. Services are provided through three comprehensive Job Centers, multiple satellite locations, and an administrative office.
